10th November 2024 saw the Parishes’ Annual Remembrance Service, this year at St Faith’s Church in Overbury.
The event was very well attended and included the laying of Remembrance Wreathes from each parish, together with those from the Girl Guides, Boy Scouts and Veterans.
The Teddington & Alstone Parish wreath was laid by Parish Chairman, Mr Tim Carter, who along with others from each of the other parishes, also read out the names of those from Teddington who fell during WW1 and WW2; the same was undertaken for Alstone. It was poignant to hear multiple names from the same families being remembered.
On behalf of our Parish we thank all for their selfless Service and Sacrifice.
